Barcelona Moves Forward without Messi

The Messi-less version of Barcelona is fine, after all, as they won 0-2 against not so well-known FC BATE Borisov.

It seemed to be thrill enough for the Belorussian players to have iconic Blaugarna appearing on their turf.

Conceding just two goals might just have been icing on the cake for them.

Lionel Messi is obviously absent from the field, but what was not absent was Barcelona’s dominance. Their ruthlessly elegant style of play can bring down any team, let alone those with no international footprint.

The first goal was a cracker from the defending champions:

Ivan Rakitić could work as a butler, because that's as clean as it gets.

And he wasn't done with just one; dude took seconds:

No, that wasn't Messi with his perfect lobs. Could've been.

Seems he's teaching his trademark to his teammates.
