Arsenal’s Tour of Oz Starts as Planned

This may be the new dawn for Arsenal with all their high profile summer signings.

Impressively, it seemed like everything was clicking for them right from the pre-season's first kickoff.

Down under. Light stuff.

The Gunners filled Sydney FC's coffers to start their Asian tour and easily didgeridoo'd them with a 0-2 win.

Although a friendly, many Arsenal fans had their eyes stuck on this one for the first glimpse of their new signing, Alexander Lacazette. Their patience would ultimately be rewarded.

But first, they saw center back Per Mertesacker -- who's as stiff as a post -- score in an unorthodox manner, which is usually the only way he does hit twine:

Who'd have thought he'd have the moves Jagger?

Then came the moment that Gunner Nation wanted.

The eagerly awaited Alexander Lacazette goal.

That may be the easiest goal he'll ever score in his Arsenal career.
