Another 4-Goal Performance from Manchester United

On a day when the Red Devils' favorite son, Wayne Rooney returned to Old Trafford in Everton colors, his old team decided to bid him goodbye with a pretty heavy scoreline.

Manchester United found itself in a battle against a struggling Everton side that was actually quite close before the Blues' dam burst at the end with a cascade of three goals in the final nine minutes to produce the 4-0 final.

This was not the kind of welcome Rooney had hoped. Then again, as hot as the Devils are right now, their flurried finish couldn't have been all that surprising.

Blood in the water and all that.

At least he had a great view of what's worthy a candidate for goal of the month when Antonio Valencia scored a cracker.

Old Trafford will now shout shoot! every times he gets the ball from here on out.

That happened in the fourth minute.

Everton then spent the next 79 neutralizing the Premiership leaders, even managing a 51%-49% possession advantage. Still, they only put three shots on net to the home squad's seven.

However, the Blues were negotiating a precarious path, and it finally caught up with them.

That was the 83rd minute when Henrikh Mkhitaryan broke through:

Always easy on the eye, this dude.

And the goal rush was on.

Romelu Lukaku didn't hesitate to celebrate against his former club in the 89th:

This is all business for the Belgian international.

Antony Martial spent time added on displaying his dribbling skills, which led a show of his spot kicking skill:

That was just too easy.
