The Shot Dude: Perfect Ten

When you Google search perfect ten, you get quite a few eye-raising results.

Go ahead, we'll wait.

Now then, the perfect ten to which your favorite Shot Dude is referring happens tonight on two Canadian and eight American rinks.

After a short three-game slate yesterday, the NHL schedule maker gives us a 10-game, variety-filled bonanza. See for yourself, using the Bovada data tool located on our Home page:

The FanDuel peeps work hard each day to bring great choices in fantasy games. Give them a try, if you haven't already.

Forwards

Sidney CrosbyPittsburgh ($8500) ... has been playing his best hockey of the season with 18 points (8 goals, 10 assists) in the 16 games since Penguins management made the switch to coach Mike Sullivan. Dude's taken 131 shots and is up to 37 points in 44 games. Crosby also tries to make it five straight games with at least a point against cross-state rival Philadelphia tonight. The Pens have home ice, but the Flyers can leap-frog them in the standings with the win.

Tyler SeguinDallas ($8000) ... currently ranks fifth in the league with the 178 shots he's fired. Even better, dude has accumulated 53 points in 47 games and never seems to have long stretches without showing up on the scoresheet. The Stars skate home ice against Edmonton, a team that ranks second-worst by giving up 141 goals in 48 games. On the flip side, Dallas is first in goals scored with 154 in 47 games.

Joe PavelskiSan José ($7900) ... leads the NHL with seven game-winning goals. The 43 points he's tallied in 44 games is not too shabby, either. Although Pavelski has been shut out in the last three games, I think he'll get back on track tonight. Dude has a cannon and has blasted 118 shots so far this season. The Sharks square off against Arizona, a team that's not only given up three goals a game on average, but owns the league's third-worst penalty kill at a meager 76.4%.

Defensemen

Jacob MuzzinLos Angeles ($4900) ... has now gone eight consecutive games with at least one point. Dude averages just over two shots a game, and has now recorded 25 points in 45 games. At this price, Muzzin is just too hot not to insert into your lineup, as 8 of his last 10 fantasy scores were at three points or higher. The Kings entertain a lethargic Minnesota team that played last night in Anaheim and have only lit the lamp 6 times in their last 6 contests.

Seth JonesColumbus ($4700) ... has adjusted well after being traded from Nashville, collecting 4 points in his last 3 games with the Blue Jackets. Dude's been slotted into both the top defensive pairing and power play and looks quite comfortable with the almost 24 minutes of ice time he's been getting. Calgary comes to town sporting the league's worst penalty kill at 74.8% and has surrendered 133 goals in 44 games.

Goaltender

Cory SchneiderNew Jersey ($8400) ... has three major factors going for him tonight that I seek in measuring a netminder's chances for winning. First, Schneider has been his team's most valuable player to this point. There's no way that New Jersey would be in a playoff spot with 51 points if it weren't for his solid play. Second, Schneider has been on fire lately, winning 3 of his last 4 starts and posting a .954 save percentage, while only giving up a miserly 1.26 goals/game. Lastly, dude's dominated Ottawa this season, beating them twice with a .947 save percentage and allowing under two goals a game.

Your favorite Shot Dude hopes you come up with a perfect ten of a lineup and count your fantasy cash in the morning.
