Stanley Cup: Rinne Stones the Pens Again in Game 4

It's not exactly rare for the home team to prevail every time in a seven-game Stanley Cup finals.

If it happens this year, the Pittsburgh Penguins will have defended their title.

If it doesn't, then a huge reason will be the Finnish dude between the pipes for Nashville.

Pekka Rinne looked shaky in Games 1 and 2 in the 'Burgh but then regained his form back in Tennessee. The question, though, was if he was really back to his signature jailbreak style of key saves at crucial moments.

Based on his Game 4 deeds, it seems so.

Although the Predators notched a 4-1 victory, the key moment again came when Smashville was clinging to a 2-1 lead. That's when Rinne was again in his element.

Check it out in Finnish, who got excited to the point that it almost sounds like they're speaking English:

The point remains that the Penguins are getting their chances, and these are essentially one-goal games disguised as breathers.

Notable sports analysts like that, and by extension, clearly agree with the Angry White Dude.

Coincidentally, most close observers are of the opinion that a real breather is exactly what Pittsburgh needs.

Could be. But not as badly as Nashville needs to nick a game on the road.
