Kadri's a keeper.

It was a glimmer of hope from the old guard.

Mike Shanahan, Lou Lamoriello, and Mike Babcock have a ton -- make that a buncha kilograms; it's Canada -- of rebuilding to do, which made ditching veterans a necessity, but one they kept put on a show for Toronto fans Saturday night.

And that, in turn, would not be enough to keep the old Broad Street Bullies from wondering how in the name of Freddie the Fog could any opponent skate through that many Flyers without having to update his health insurance.
