Gronk's Spike Confirms Bruins Don't Deflate Pucks

OK. That's settled.

Leave it to a Super Bowl-winning tight end to make it clear that the NHL doesn't have a controversy it didn't know it could have had.

League rules state that a puck must weigh between 5.5 and 6.0 ounces.

And clearly as a public service, the New England Patriots' Rob Gronkowski gave an air check to a random puck in the Boston Bruins' freezer. Would it splat in flatness or boing in bounceability?

Damn! That little biscuit soared over the glass as if Fenway Park's Pesky Pole had been transplanted to the TD Garden.

Maybe the league had better start testing pucks for PEDs instead.
