Riley Cooper Gets into Fight with Eagles Teammate

lf anyone thought the Riley Cooper incident would just quietly go away, they'd better think again.

Cooper got into it with teammate Cary Williams at practice yesterday.

Witnesses say that Michael Vick, along with other teammates, had to pry the two apart. No one is saying what caused the fight, and Cooper is denying that it had anything to do with his senselessly screaming a racial slur at the Kenny Chesney concert he attended a few weeks ago.

Williams was one of the teammates who did not support Cooper coming back to the team. He said previously that there was an "elephant in the room" when it came to Cooper's concert video.

The Philadelphia Enquirer is also reporting that Cooper was  "visibly distraught" and "stayed out of the one-on-one drills" with wideouts and defensive backs until he was approached by fellow wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

Regardless of Cooper's denials, the elephant is still not only in the room, but stomping around. The Eagles were dumb to think that all was forgiven and things would get back to normal.

And let's be honest, if it wasn't for injuries, Cooper probably wouldn't be on the team, but he is and now the Eagles have to deal with it.

It's clear feelings are still raw and elephants don't forget. The longer the Eagles sidestep this issue, the harder it's going to be for them and Cooper to overcome it.
