Richard Sherman Almost Maims Bills Kicker

Football is a violent enough game when played within the confines of the rules.

However, when cheap shots enter the equation, the chances of injury increase substantially.

This brings us to Monday night's thriller between the Seattle Seahawks and Buffalo Bills.

At the end of the first half, the Bills attempted a long field goal, and Richard Sherman came off the edge beyond early, trying to block the kick.

Then it got weird.

There's a lot going on here

The referees were completely befuddled, actually penalizing the Bills and ignoring the egregious hit on Dan Carpenter.

Of course, Sherman had a different interpretation of the play, suggesting his desire to not just give the Bills a free play, even though he was the one offsides.

This is debatable, and dude did go for the ball first, but he also went flush into Carpenter's knee.

But wait, there's more.

Carpenter was fine, but his wife Kaela was most certainly not, suggesting via Twitter that perhaps castration is the answer.

She was obviously emotional in the moment, but that was one loaded tweet, filled with all sorts of unsavory implications.

The reply from Sherman was definite high road:

The lesson here is simple.

Perhaps Donald Trump isn't the only person who needs restrictions placed on his social media usage.
