Julio Jones Has Developed Some Sorta Rare End Zone Allergy

By all accounts, Julio Jones is a scary good NFL wide receiver.

However, there's one aspect of his game that appears to be lacking.

Despite piling up catches and yards, the Atlanta Falcons star can't seem to find the end zone.

The reasons for this phenomenon continue to elude people in the know.

Dude's snagged 34 balls for 564 yards in five games, yet not one of these catches culminated in an elaborate celebration.

If the former Crimson Tider continues this pace without scoring all season, he'll completely obliterate a record held by Raymond Berry for most production by a wide receiver while not scoring in a full season.

Yes, that was really old footage of Berry in action.

Back to Julio, though.

This strange anomaly isn't exclusive to this season.

In 2017, Jones caught 88 passes, yet only scored a scant three touchdowns.

We do have video evidence of Jones scoring touchdowns, for what its worth:

Logic tells us that Jones will find the end zone at some point this season, although his fellow Nick Saban pawn Calvin Ridley seems determined to gobble up all the receiving touchdowns himself.

Sharing is caring, dudes.
