Jaworski: Manziel Doesn't Impress Me

Of all the hack experts in the NFL, one of the biggest is  ESPN analyst Ron Jaworski.

The Polish Rifle, who used to quarterback the Philadelphia Eagles, said something that made no sense.

Jaworski stated that not only was he not impressed by Johnny Manziel, but that he wouldn't even pick him in the first three rounds of the draft.

“Manziel may fall. I’m not crazy about him, to be honest with you. I’ve only looked at five games. I wouldn’t take him in the first three rounds. That’s my opinion. It’s incomplete right now. But he has not done a whole lot to me.”

Well Jaws, if it's incomplete, how can you come to the conclusion he's a third- or fourth- round pick?

I'm not a fan of Manziel's personality, but that doesn't mean he isn't a baller. Because he is.

Johnny Football won the Heisman Trophy as a freshman -- the first to do so -- defeated the eventual national champion Alabama Crimson Tide in 2012 and almost did it again last year, and put up basically the same monster numbers in his sophomore year.

But if you listen to Jaworski, Manziel sucks and isn't good enough for the NFL. Listen, Jaworski is an old-school guy, and I'm sure what turns him off Manziel is not his play, but his attitude. I get that.

But Brett Favre, to whom many knowledgeable dudes are comparing Manziel, had the same cocky, playboy attitude during his first few years in the league.

The reason why he landed in Green Bay was that he was partying too much in Atlanta. But like Manziel, Favre could play his ass off, and he never let his partying affect his play, again like Manziel.

And if you think Jaworski has been correct on his predictions, think again. This is the same hack ... I mean, analyst ... who said Chip Kelly's offense wouldn't work. And even though Nick Saban has been in Tuscaloosa for almost eight years, he still refers to him as a "liar."

Like the shark, anybody who is in the same waters as this Jaws had better bring a bigger boat to be protected from his inflated ego.
