Hernandez Indicted for First Degree Murder

As most expected, a grand jury indicted former New England Patriots tightened Aaron Hernandez for the first -degree murder of Odin Lloyd.

According to CNN, prosecutors say Hernandez, 23, orchestrated the shooting death of Lloyd.

Hernandez and two other men allegedly picked Lloyd up on the morning of 17 June, and his body was found later that day in an industrial park near Hernandez's home.

Prosecutors say they now have sufficient evidence to support their claims. This includes a surveillance video from Hernandez's home that shows him holding onto what looks like a gun as he arrived there a few moments after shots were heard being fired in the distance.

Also, investigators found text messages between Hernandez and his girlfriend, discussing what seems to be a box hidden in his house where the murder weapon may have been stashed.

Despite all the evidence in this case, the murder weapon -- at least in this case -- has not been found.
