Hernandez Being Investigated in Another Murder

Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was officially charged with first degree murder yesterday in the death of Odin Lloyd.

But as the police peel back more layers of this case, it seems to get uglier and uglier as the days go by.

Now, the police are investigating another murder; this one is a double-homicide that they think might have involved Hernandez.

According to reports out of Boston, authorities are looking into the 2012 deaths of Saifro Furtado and Daniel Abreu. They were both murdered after they left a local bar, which is in the same area as Hernandez's home.

Reports also seem to imply that Lloyd might have been killed by Hernandez because he knew Hernandez was linked to these murders last summer.

Furtado and Abreu were shot in a drive-by last year when a silver or gray SUV with Rhode Island plates pulled up next to them and began firing. The police never solved the case, but it sounds like they may have now.

If true, Hernandez is going to be in a world of hurt. Although Massachusetts doesn't have the death penalty, this would be the last the former tight end will ever be seen in public.
