Give Them A Whooping: Transcript of Adrian Peterson's Motivational Text to the Vikings
Reports surfaced today of a motivational text Adrian Peterson -- currently suspended indefinitely for alleged child abuse -- sent to his Minnesota Vikings head coach, Mike Zimmer, prior to today's tilt against the Atlanta Falcons.
Through a series of brown paper bags and several dodgy sexual promises, The Daily Player has managed to procure the text for the eyeballs of its readers.
Here is Peterson's meesage in its full unedited entirety:
Hey there, Coach.
This team been bad so far. Real bad. They need some discipline. Tell em I'll be bringing the switch into the locker room if they don shoot down those Falcons.
Course you know never do I go overboard! But all my teammates will know, hey AP has the biggie heart but don’t play no games when it comes to playin right.
I know Matt Asiata were mad at me about his leg last time. I got kinda good wit the tail end of the switch. I felt bad after the fact when I notice the switch was wrapping around hitting his thigh.
Got Matt Cassel in the nuts once I noticed. But I felt so bad, n I’m all tearing that butt up when needed! I start putting them in timeout. N save the whooping for needed memories.
Can't remember how many others I beat before -- don't ever count how many pops I give.
But I'll be givin out many as needed if we don't get real on the Falcons!
