Free Agent Antics: Oh, the Places They Will Go!

More times than not, you look at free agent moves by NFL teams and ask, "What were they thinking?"

This is one of those rare moments when you have to ask a player that.

Eric Decker a good, not great, wideout has signed with the New York Jets.

Decker clearly benefitted from having two quality wide recievers, a game changing tight end, and a versitile running back on the field with him in Denver. Oh, and not to mention Peyton Manning; you know, the greatest quaterback playing today was throwing him the ball.

After a run to the Super Bowl with the most prolific offense in NFL history, many wondered what would happen to Decker. That includes the Mad Bomber himself, Mike Martz:

Now, Decker will be playing for ... well ... Geno Smith and... well ... a great defense that will eventually get him the ball. But with the Jets, he will have little to no help on a stuggling offense and twice a season go up against each of new New England Patriot cornerback Darrelle Revis and Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes

So, good luck, Mr Decker. You will need it.
