Con Text: Five Other Fake Inspirational Quotes for the Cleveland Browns' Locker Room

We've all known for some time the Cleveland Browns have issues with accuracy.

Turns out it's a full-blown disease.

As revealed today by Deadspin, the Dawgs' digs has a few doo-doo's on the walls. Specifically, an alarming number of the inspirational quotes "researched" by minions in the organization (possibly the same ones driving the season tank) then subsequently tattooed to the locker room whitewash have some dubious attributions.

Famous folks misquoted include Thomas Jefferson, Mother Teresa, Abe Lincoln, Red Auerbach and Nelson Mandela. Willy Wonka, protagonist of Roald Dahl's novel Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, is also dudded, despite the Browns' close asociation with the Oompa Loompa community.

We here at The Daily Player are fastidious about our fake quotes. To help the Browns' brass scrape the egg off their sad canine faces, here are five new additions to help fill out their Wikipedia walls:

"Winners lose much more often than losers. So if you keep losing but you’re still trying, keep it up! You’re right on track." Rob Chudzinski

"I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it." Brandon Weeden

"I haven’t failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work." Norv Turner

"The best way to predict the future is to invent it." Trent Richardson

"Haikus are easy. But sometimes they don’t make sense. Refrigerator.” Josh Gordon
