Bills Owner Dies; Kelly's Cancer Spreads

It hasn’t been the best of days for the Buffalo Bills.

First comes word that former quarterback Jim Kelly's cancer has not only returned, reports are it has spread.

We all thought that Kelly had defeated cancer a few months ago, but as we recently discovered, he’s still battling the disease.

It's hard to see Jim Kelly like this. I'll always remember him as Machine Gun Kelly when he ran the Bills’ no-huddle offense back in the day.

And the news got worse as the day progressed. Bills owner Ralph Wilson passed away at age 95.

Wilson was the last of the original American Football League owners. He sanctioned those 1990s Bills' teams with Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith and André Reed, who went to four Super Bowls under head coach Marv Levy. And although none of those teams won a Super Bowl, they were still considered one of the best teams of all-time. But don't think the Bills never got rings. They had legendary players a generation earlier, such as Jack Kemp and Cookie Gilchrist, and they won titles.

The question now is, what happens to the Bills?
