Wofford Pops Tar Heels; Tested for Reality Instead of PEDs Afterward

This is turning into an awesome college basketball season.

Every team is vulnerable.

There are now only four unbeaten teams in Division I:

Villanova ... 11-0 Miami ... 9-0
Arizona State ... 10-0 TCU ... 10-0

No one realistically expects any of them to post a perfect season, especially with some of the upsets that came outta nowhere already.

To date, there's a new leader in the clubhouse of upsets that were least expected.

Not necessarily because the Wofford Terriers are devoid of talent. They just put that thought to rest.

Dudes may be only 7-4 this season, but three of those losses came at the hands of South Carolina, California and Texas Tech.

So, in a sense, the Terriers had a good idea what they were getting into at Chapel Hill, and they were ready to supply a shocker:

Thus, Wofford broke the Tar Heels' 23-game home court winning streak while making a little bit of history for themselves.

They'll now enjoy a partial holiday break before getting down to business in the Southern Conference, starting with UNC Greensboro on Sat 30 Dec and hoping their challenging non-con schedule will steel them for a run at March Madness.

The defending NCAA champions, meanwhile, surely won't be enjoying much as a miffed Roy Williams prepares them for a meeting with Ohio State this weekend.

If nothing else, the loss to Wofford has surely honed the Heels' focus.

It probably kept the four unbeatens on a higher level of upset alert, too.
