Week 3: Teams with the Best Chance to Remain Unbeaten

With Week 3 in college football already underway, let's look who has the best chance to stay undefeated until the BCS Championship game.

Clemson and Florida State ... Both are high-scoring ACC teams that will eventually meet. I loved the way the Clemson D showed up against Georgia. And how about that redshirt freshman Jameis Winston! However, I see Clemson coming out on top with a more veteran team and continuity in coaches. This week: the Tigers have a bye; the Seminoles host Nevada.

Oregon and Stanford ... The Pac-12 will again, for the fourth time in as many years, send two teams to BCS Bowl games. I see the Ducks winning this one due to Stanford's lack of returning recievers, but with the Cardinal being the only team in the conference that puts its power game first and foremost, it's the 'unique' team now. That could be enough for this match-up to go their way. With the game in Palo Alto with one of the nation's best defenses, if I weren't a Duck fan, this game would be a toss up. This week: The Cardinal travels to West Point to play Army; the Ducks host Tennessee.

Louisville ... With a highly managable schedule, a highly touted quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater, and a defensive genius in Charlie Strong, the Cardinals should be undefeated by the time everyone's going bowling, but may still get left out of the BCS game because of the publicity that's going to arise about their schedule. This week: the Cardinals are at Kentucky.
