NFL Expert: Bridgewater Workout 'Average'

Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater didn't exactly blow away NFL experts away with his workout today.

In fact, it was called "average" by one expert. That would be Mike Mayock of the NFL Network.

“Most quarterbacks have good pro days,” Mayock said. “Today, I thought it was very average at best.”

Yikes!

That's not good at all, considering that Bridgewater is supposed to be one of the best quarterbacks in the draft.

Albert Breer, also of the NFL Network, tried to pointed out that Bridgewater threw without the glove he usually wears.

Breer tweet re Bridgewater

Glove or no glove, Bridgewater didn't leave the right impression with NFL scouts which may mean he will fall hard in the draft. Some, though, tried to put a positive spin on the day:

JaMarcus Russell had good pro day

But that was before Russell signed the big contract and almost put pizza and cheeseburgers on the endangered species list.

Bridgewater may be this year's Aaron Rodgers on draft day. Rodgers, as some may recall, fell in the draft all the way to the Green Bay Packers.

Now, that's a positive spin on things!
