McCarron Gets Engaged; Didn't Ask Fans for Permission

As most of you know by now, Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron proposed to model/girlfriend Katherine Webb over the weekend in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

She, of course, said yes.

Hell, after all those hand-wringing moments in the stands and close-ups during game broadcasts, she'd better have said yes!

And while most fans congraulated them on their happy news, there were still a few spoilsports who, quite frankly, hated on them. In fact, a few questioned where McCarron got the money to pay for such an expensive ring.

Most people forget that McCarron is no longer a college student, so he can get a loan because of the expectation that he'll be making some decent NFL coin in the very near future.
