Hawaii Bowl Features Kick Six and Pick Six

The great thing about Christmas in Oahu is that you're spending Christmas in Oahu.

Expenses paid.

Who cares if the massive Aloha Stadium swallows up a crowd that looks like it's been RSVP'd? There's a game to be played and then stuff to do.

Tell ya what.

You're gonna need more than ten cans of beer if someone sets nine pounds of poi in front of you.

More like ten cases of Primo.

And then stagger off to do some Santa PI exploring.

It's a bummer that the players' days had to be interrupted by mundane tasks like practice, but damned if they didn't man up and do it before heading out to do that pau hana thing.

Just beware of chilling with OGs out there.

Anyway, Houston and Fresno State definitely went into carefree mode when the clock started.

Lotsa big plays and those two cool defensive TDs:

It all added up to a 33-27 Hawaii Bowl triumph for the Bulldogs, but a good time was had by all.

And odds are, and even better one will be on the docket for Christmas Day.
