Florida Kicker Nails 81-Yarder During Spring Practice

Damn, that's some good leg.

During a Gators spring practice back in April, University of Florida kicker Eddy Piñeiro was screwing around with some distance kicking.

The precise distance in question was 81 yards.

No, really.

Dude's next scholarship might come from NASA.

Piñeiro seemed pretty pleased with himself, and for good reason.

While this kick was executed without the snap or a live rush, 81 yards is still 81 yards.

As is usually the case with videos of this kind, the authenticity has been questioned.

But fear not.

Florida head coach Jim McElwain, who has been rather defensive about a number of issues recently, has leapt to the side of his young kicker, insisting the video was not in any way altered.

We still believe you, Jim.

Never mind the video.

Perhaps we should examine the origins of Piñeiro himself.
