Big XII Commish Whines about Cheating

There are certain things Big XII Commissioner Bob Bowlsby shouldn't discuss.

Cheating would be one of them.

Knowing the history of the Big XII -- and no, recruits, don't try to sound that out -- Bowlsby should leave this topic alone.

So when the Commish says cheating pays, he should know.

Cheating pays presently. If you seek to conspire to certainly bend the rules, you can do it successfully and probably not get caught in most occasions.

Do tell.

If you watched the ESPN's 30 for 30 documentary Pony Excess, which discusses the SMU cheating scandal, then you know this conference basically invented cheating.

And they got it.

SMU -- remember, the M stands for Methodist, as in no pope, no confession -- was caught so many times, even Judge Lance Ito would've put down the hammer.

Even Vladimir Putin wasn't that blatant while he was 'annexing' Crimea.

It was probably a Mustang booster who served as the football consultant in Horsefeathers. And he probably thought it was a documentary.

Does this dude really think he's now got a litterbox in the backyard now because a few Sooners self-busted their pasta excess?

Bowlsby had best be aware that in this age of 24/7 social media, he and his conference members are living in a glass house.

Because as we have found time and again, history has a way of repeating itself.
