Big 12 Coach Wears Heels for Charity

Hold onto your hats ladies ... and gentlemen, for that matter.

A certain Big XII coach is wearing heels, but it's not for what you think.

Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury and his coaching staff decided to wear high heels for a local charity that helps rape victims.

The event, which is called Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, will take place Saturday 5 April.

It's nice to see Kingsbury and his staff support this kind of charity, especially with the news recently of several athletes abusing or sexually assaulting women.

I'd rather see Kingsbury in heels than Texas basketball coach Rick Barnes making the Hook'em Horns sign with Justin Bieber that went viral yesterday.

But back to Kingsbury.

Rumor has it that former Houston Cougars QB Case Keenum is lobbying for his former coach -- Kingsbury was an assistant at Houston -- to be the next Bachelor and after what happened last night, you'd understand why.

Charitable, good-looking and a football coach wouldn't be a bad pick by ABC.
