Alabama RB Arrested for Pot Possession‏

You can tell the off season has begun in the SEC, because players are already being arrested left and right.

Former Alabama running back Dee Hart was arrested for marijuana possession, giving out false information and reports are he was also passing out counterfeit money.

Hart, who was a five-star running back coming out of high school, has been injured often since arriving in Tuscaloosa. He's had two season-ending injuries, and 2013 is the first season since he's arrived on campus that he was able to play the whole season.

Hart was primarily used on special teams and had become one of the leaders on that squad. Michigan could attest to that:

Hart was released on a $1,300 bond.

According to Alabama officials, Hart hasn't been on the roster since January. My guess is it's because he saw the handwriting on the wall with the emergence of Derrick Henry in the Oklahoma game and figured there was no way he'd see much playing time in 2014.

At this rate, he may not be seeing any playing anywhere any time soon.
