Roy Williams Just Got Paid

Life is pretty good for Roy Williams at the moment.

The wildly successful coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels just wrapped up his third national championship with a win over Gonzaga in the NCAA title game.

While the sometimes chair abuser is no doubt experiencing the pride of a job well done, he's also being handsomely compensated for his efforts.

It appears Williams has an incentive-laden contract, and this dude just cashed in on all of them.

It makes sense to reward an individual for success, and coach has certainly earned it.

Including his robust base salary of $2.1million, Williams will make around $3.0million for the year.
