Thunder Fans Find Inappropriate Tweets from Draftee
In the age of social media, everything is documented.
Unfortunately for professional athletes, that includes inflammatory tweets about a team they'll eventually join.
A dude by the name of Terrance Ferguson was recently selected in the first round of the NBA Draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
In addition to being a fine basketball player, the 19-year-old also appears to be a fan of the Golden State Warriors.
And how did we happen upon this information?
Well, he tweeted about it just last year after the Warriors had eliminated his new team.
But wait, there's more:
|
Yes, that was the day Kevin Durant announced he was leaving OKC in favor of Oakland.
Here's the dude defending Durant one week before the draft.
|
Obviously, this shouldn't really be a thing, although some sensitive Thunder fans may feel differently.
|
Of course, these innocuous tweets pale in comparison to this Larry Nance Jr scorched-earth missive from 2012:
|
Jeez, just look at that hashtag.
Anyway, the lesson here is simple.
Delete everything, and also scrub that hard drive clean while you're at it.
