The Heat Are Laying How Many Points?

There's no other way to put it. Game 1 in Miami was a massacre for the Milwaukee Bucks.

They were dominated in every facet of the game en route to a 110-87 defeat at the hands of the Miami Heat. The majority of the Bucks players had never even smelled the playoffs before, and they were clearly overmatched against the far superior Heat.

Game 2 will likely be a different story. It would be borderline insane to pick the Bucks to win outright, but there's no way they should be getting 14.5 points against anyone, including the Heat. You can find this line in the Bovada data tool on our Home page. Milwaukee did only win 38 games this year, but a respectable 17 of them were on the road.

Picking huge road underdogs is far from sexy, and it can be agonizing to root for the crummy team to beat the good team. But one positive factor that sometimes makes a huge difference is that teams with leads tend to bench their starters towards the end of the game. If the Heat are up, say, 18 points with three minutes remaining, you can be sure that Lebron and Wade will have their patooties parked on the bench.

Take the Bucks and the points, and hope like hell that they don't suck tonight.

My pick: Milwaukee Bucks     +14.5
