Kendrick Perkins Refuses to Move His Legs
There have been a number of narratives at play in the 2018 NBA Finals.
From the epic JR Smith brain cramp to LeBron's absurd level of play, what's expected to be a one-sided series has been rather captivating.
In fact, there's enough actual drama at our disposal to the point that manufacturing it is unnecessary.
One glaring example would be the Kendrick Perkins leg scandal.
You may recall this nonsense from the second half of Game 2:
Yep, that was all of it.
This quasi-encounter was simultaneously brief and pointless.
Yet somehow this story has developed legs, pun completely intended.
The Warriors have complained publicly about the incident, seeming to suggest it may have been an attempt at harming their tiny multiple MVP.
Curry clearly took exception in the moment, but what did the literally-never-used Perkins have to say on the subject?
Talked to Perk about issue with Curry. “I don’t know why people keep wanting to pick battles this way. Might want to choose that [expletive] wisely, man, [rather] than [bleeping] with me. I don’t think I’m the problem that they want, though, might want to pick another battle.” https://t.co/UIZsp4pr8z

Well, he seems incredulous about the whole thing, although that last part appears to be a direct threat.
For someone who's not worn a uniform for the entirety of this post-season, Perkins somehow continues to make news, albeit not terribly interesting news.
Back in Game 1, the aged center tried to make a contribution from the bench in his suit and sneakers but was greeted with scorn and derision from Draymond Green.
The anticipation for Game 3 in Cleveland was palpable, as many wondered how Perkins would insert himself or his limbs into the narrative yet again from the relative safety of the bench.
Turned out dude was a DNP who DNP'd.
