Dellavedova Turns Celtics Roller into Bucks Buzzer Beater

Some say Star Trek's man in the red shirt curse is media myth.

Maybe it is.

So what? It's still an excellent metaphor for dudes who don't pay attention while doing their duty and then having it cost them dearly.

The phenomenon plagues sports constantly, from baseball to college hoops.

The good news here: Mankind makes it to the 23rd century.

The bad news: Someone still never learns.

Perhaps a few Boston Celtics were their forebears. They seemed to be having an issue with paying attention in Game 4 in Milwaukee ...

Yeah, right. Whatever-the-hell-it-was. Details weren't a big thing for Marcus Morris at the time, either.

So none other than disruptor extraordinaire Matthew Dellavedova took advantage with seconds left in the first quarter:

Australia probably leads the world in different species of venomous snakes, so no wonder those dudes Down Under know how to keep on their toes.

As usual, opportunities like that come at the expense of yet another human -- in this case, Morris -- who puts his mind on hold and becomes a slave to the routine.

Incidentally, the Bucks won, 104-102.

Giannis Antetokounmpo may have been the star of the game, but if the Celtics want to reflect on what went wrong, Dellavedova's two stolen points turned out to be huge.
