Cuban: I Got Magic Kicked Off a Plane Once

When I say there is no love lost between Mark Cuban and the Los Angeles Lakers, I mean there is seriously no love lost.

Over the years, the Lakers have put a hurting on Cuban's Dallas Mavericks, obviously making him unusually hostile towards them. So hostile, in fact, it seems that Cuban has taken out his frustration on a few former players. And that includes Magic Johnson.

Cuban bragged that one time, he had the NBA great kicked off an airplane so his girlfriend could have a seat.

“I used to go to clubs in LA and wherever and say, 'Let’s go somewhere! Let’s go to Vegas,' and drag somebody [with me]. It was a first-class ticket for me and somebody else, and if there weren’t seats available, they’d have to kick somebody off [the flight].

“One day, Magic Johnson comes bitching and moaning off the plane. He was the victim, I guess. It made me look really good with that girl.”

Did I mention that Cuban really hates the Lakers?

That's impressive, all right, but what's more impressive -- at least, to me -- would have been if Cuban had flown the girl on his private jet instead of a commercial flight.

Now, that's impressive.

But where did Cuban get this attitude. Could it have been on a plane flight when he was just a little whippersnapper?
