Chris Paul's Kicking It Old School

The Los Angeles Clippers had a rough time in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

While they did go the full seven games with the Utah Jazz, they were more or less doomed after losing Blake Griffin and ultimately lost Game 7 at home.

During this depressing contest, Clips point guard Chris Paul seemed to grow increasingly frustrated as the Jazz lead continued to swell.

It culminated in a little loose-ball tussle with Jazz forward Joe Ingles late in the game.

Look out, Joe!

This play is open to much interpretation.

CP3 was obviously emotional at that point in the game, as it'd become pretty clear that the Clippers weren't going to win.

Some have argued that he was making the kicking motion as an argument to the official for a kicked ball call.

While this theory does have merit, as Ingles did in fact kick the ball, it's certainly possible Paul was simply trying to kick the dude out of sheer frustration.

The mongrel Internet hordes seem to agree with this assessment:

Paul has now played 76 career playoff games.

For those keeping score at home, that would be the most playoff games without advancing to the conference finals.

The little kicks are certainly not helping.
