By popular demand, Santa Anita Park is again hosting the Double Down Challenge, a two-day handicapping tournament set for 9-10 March. The first-place prize package has grown. It now features $10,000 in cash, five seats to the DRF/NTRA Championship, and two Breeders’ Cup Challenge handicapping seats.
The founder of Horse Player Magazine, Tom Quigley, will assist in the event's production. Questions may be directed to him via e-mail to Quigley@HorsePlayerdaily.com.
Entry to the Challenge costs $500 with a $1,000 buy-in.
All entrants may Double Down prior to the first race on Day Two, which means they can re-enter the contest for an additional $500 charge.
